Included in their curriculum were the special arts of dancing, archery as well as yoga and pranayama and yamas (social moral ethics) and niyamas (personal moral ethics). They would then return to their parents and society with their skills. Famous of all was Rama and his brother Lakshman as told in the great Indian Literature "RAMANAYAMA" (one of the oldest Indian texts of mankind).
AYUR-YOGA is also one of the aims and main component of YOGA GURUKUL,in propagating the ayurvedic lifestyles and principles of healthy foods and diets for the individual.Yoga supports Ayurveda and Ayurveda supports Yoga. They both originate from the same Tune of the Original Primordial Vedas. Like two rivers they run side by side for the benefit of humanity.
